Several years ago, the scientific community spread the amazing news. Austrian scientist Karl von Frisch, known for his work on comparative physiology, claimed that he has discovered “bee language”. According to the scientist, the foraging bee that finds a source of food, returns to the hive, and reports to other bees about the location of the growing plant.

But the insects are not able to talk. So how can they communicate with each other about such complex concepts? When returning home, the bee, which found the food begins to run fast on the vertical honeycombs, and its body draws something like eight. The rest of the bees immediately pay attention to this whirling. Then two or three of them separate from the others and repeat the movements. And before it finishes dancing, the bees rush from the hive directly to the source of food.

However, Professor Frisch claims that the rhythm corresponds to the distance that separates the bees from honey.
